Mag Instrument Heavy-Duty 3 D-Cell Flashlight

From MagLite Flashlight

This purple flashlight comes with a high intensity krypton gas lamp for optimum brilliance and extended range. Plus, with a twist of the flashlight head, you can change the beam from spot to flood, positioning the light where you need it most. It's anodized inside and out for improved corrosion resistance and durability, with a self-cleaning switch that virtually eliminates oxidation. The high grade O-rings at each opening ensure resistance to water and shock while the low resistance circuitry allows a more efficient use of the batteries. The diamond-knurled grip is comfortable to hold, and there's a spare bulb in the tail cap to keep you out of the shadows. Manufactured in the United States, this flashlight is serially numbered for identification purposes. It requires 3 D-cell batteries, not included. Bright light. Bright purchase.

Unless you've been hiding for the past few decades, you're sure to recognize this classic from Mag Instrument. The solid dependability of Mag flashlights is hard to top, which explains why the brand is so popular with police officers, security guards, and other people who can't afford to be left in the dark. This three-D-cell model is great for home use and an essential part of any home emergency kit. It shines as bright as anyone could ask for, and a simple twist of the head changes the beam from a spot to a luminous floodlight. Having a Mag flashlight on hand can keep an inconvenience, like a November blackout, from becoming a small disaster. It is also a great light for illuminating the woods and keeping the bears at bay on summer camping trips. The weighty feel of a Mag flashlight also offers a sense of security in the dark that other flashlights just don't have, enough to give you the confidence to confront any basement bogeyman or mountain monster. --Brian Trinen

Customer Reviews

I LOVE PURPLE!!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the PURPLE MAG-LITE. It was a great price at around $16, comes with an extra bulb, has an adjustable beam, and seems to be well constructed. I live on a canyon and was amazed at how far the beam of light travels!! AND IT'S PURPLE!!!

Best Flashlights

Mag Lites are the best flashlights. It's dependable and bright. Comes in all sizes and they are great for the price.

Mine was so good, someone swiped it!

I don't know if the plumber swiped it or my exiting roommate. All I know is they all turned up missing at the same time! Can't do without it. No substitute for the real thing.
